Winter fun in Big Bear

We are lucky enough to have a family cabin in Big Bear. We have been spending more time there since it doesn't cost a thing, and we don't have to pack everything we own to stay there. This is the first year Everett was able to experience the snow. Here are the pictures from our trip.

I think the landscape guy spent as much time plowing the snow off the driveway, walkway and back porch as Bryan did on just the driveway. Man vs. Machine...Machine totally wins this time.

This particular weekend we had so much snow we actually got snowed in and couldn't leave town unless we had snow tires or chains. We stayed an extra two days because there was so much snow on the roads and we didn't have our snow chains with us. (Oh nuts!) Here are some pics of Everett hanging out in the snow for the first time.
